July 15, 2018 @ 09:00 - 11:00

This workshop is part of the Asana Evolution for Injury Prevention Series. On this series we will explore in detail parts of our body that relate with the whole, meaning with our physical, psychological and emotional being. To address this we enter in to the understanding of how we move will affects our health, and Yoga is wonderful technic that can give us an insight in how to work with our body-mind-heart.

The Psoas muscle is known as the muscle of the soul by the worldwide renown psoas researcher Liz Koch. The important of the health of your psoas has been stressed out lately and with a good reason. The psoas muscle is one of the postural muscles, and due its location it sends information from the upper and lower body, communicates with the diaphragm, and important organs as the stomach and intestines. It it deeply related in diaphragmatic breathing and play an important role in emotions. Structurally, your psoas muscles are the deepest muscles in your core. In fact, they are the only muscles that connect your spine to your legs.

To have a healthy psoas is not just strengthen it or stretch it, but to awaken it, we need or we want a vibrant, responsive Psoas muscle, we can do it by felling it. It is one of the deepest muscles of the body, to arrive in to the psoas world and read its affairs with other muscle and structures in our body we have to enter like in to a deep meditation space. It is a discovery journey to the core of the body, to the core of your being that will give you a calm and effective tool to address structural imbalances, emotional upheavals and will giving you a clear and calm mind.
