Trauma Informed Somatic Yoga and Mindfulness Teacher Training
Still Flowing is a Trauma Informed 200 hr Somatic Yoga & Mindfulness Teacher Training Programme that has been running worldwide since 2008 taught by a team of highly experienced Senior Yoga Teachers (UK Yoga Alliance) with additional backgrounds in Somatic Experiencing (Body Orientated Trauma Therapy), Body Mind Centering (Experiential Anatomy and Physiology), Buddhist Mindfulness (Insight Meditation) and Somatic Movement & Dance)

This is for yoga teachers who would like to move into the principles of somatic and embodied teaching, that cultivates a therapeutic whole-body trauma-informed healing approach, as well as for yoga practitioners who want a total immersion into this deep and expansive transformative yoga.
This CPD module is broad and covers different aspects of Somatic Yoga and Mindfulness, including:-
1) Led Somatic Yoga practices with anatomical and physiological maps
2) Understanding and cultivating developmental sequencing as a Somatic asana framework
3) Buddhist Mindfulness teachings focus on the inner body and breath
4) Somatic Movement & Awareness in Nature
Practice spaces dedicated to open inquiry, dialogue, and creative process will support understanding of the material within community discovery & experiential pedagogic technique.
Through the 5 days, you will discover how these practices interweave and how these principles form the foundation of a Somatic and Mindful approach to Yoga that is Still Flowing.
Teaching Faculty:
Gemma Mallol is a Senior Yoga & Mindfulness Teacher Trainer with more than 20 yrs experience specializing in Trauma informed Somatics. Her teaching is rooted in Buddhist Mindfulness (Thich Nhat Hanh style) & Somatic Experiencing (body-oriented trauma therapy). She has been working with trauma in private practice and group contexts for almost 10 years now.
Marcela Wakeham is a Senior Yoga Teacher specializing in Experiential Anatomy and a Somatic Movement Educator in training with Body Mind Centering

- Still Flowing Yoga Teacher Training was established in 2008, and has delivered 27 training programmes to date.
- Still Flowing Yoga Teacher Training is a Registered Yoga School and accredited by the UK Yoga Alliance to deliver trainings, workshops and CPD’s at all levels. We are additionally registered with the European Yoga Alliance at the 200 hr level.
- Gemma Mallol is a Registered Senior Yoga Teacher and Training Provider (at all levels) with the UK Yoga Alliance, A Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) and Certified Mindfulness Teacher (Mindfulness Training Institute). She is currently in an ongoing period of exploration and practice incorporating non-stylised movement and Butoh Dance in Nature.
- Marcela Enriquez Wakeham is a Registered Senior Yoga Teacher with the UK Yoga Alliance and trained with Still Flowing in 2008, Pilates Teacher, Qi Gong Instructor and Dance of Awareness Facilitator. She is currently a student of Body Mind Centering and is exploring her Mexican Indigenous roots facilitating Cacao Ceremonies and Initiations.
- Neville Cregan is a Senior Yoga Teacher and Thai Massage Therapist with 25 years experience and teaches from a Scaravelli inspired approach. He completed his teacher training from 1995 – 1997 with Mary Stewart, Sophy Hoare and Peter Blackaby. He has an academic background in yoga and teaches yoga history and philosophy on various teacher training programmes.

Is a non-residential taking place in a handcrafted yurt set within a wild flower meadow, accompanied by the chorus of uplifting birdsong at The Yoga Garden in West Sussex. This beautiful natural centre is found within a pioneering 3,500 acre rewilding project that in the Knepp Estate.
